Flying Film Crew

Taking a film crew to Mexico was one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever had. I now can appreciate what Cyndi went through two years ago in Africa. The minute we crossed the border, I felt completely responsible for these people. The weight of it all did not end until we arrived back home and they got in their own cars and drove away.

justin.jpegIt didn’t help that one crew member went flying for aerial shots in a two seater plane with no doors or windows! Or that I had to drive the Mexican road, late at night without a pass for my car. Or that once we arrived, we could not get into my girlfriend’s house and I had to drop them off at a local hotel and hope they would be safe for the night. jeniece-1.jpeg

At the end of the trip, we were able to get amazing footage, great interviews, and some wonderful new photos. We did not get sick, hurt or arrested! jared.jpegWe worked until we were exhausted, overheated and grumpily happy. The crew did all I asked and more. I can’t thank them enough for their hard work, dedication or amusing future film ideas. cynpam.jpegI still contend that aliens could enter the bodies of sea life, overtake the oceans and battle until they gain control of the earth, but that is another story.

Looking forward to finishing this puppy and taking a long vacation.
